Al Paglione, a longshoreman-turned-photojournalist who chronicled 35 years in the life of North Jersey, died Wednesday night at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck. He was 80 and lived in Ridgefield Park. "Al was a living legend, and left his mark on everyone he met. Great obit. I once read in AARP magazine while waiting for my clothes to dry at a laundry mat that you should write your obit and reflect on it. Then you will realize where to best direct your efforts for the rest of your life.
